i think it is important to remember that this memorial should be more about the man than about the people who ride the trail.

no matter how you dice it, 99% of the people who ride his trail will have no idea who he is and 100% of those people wont be too fussed who he was (it is a fact that people are cunts).

this memorial is designed to honour a man and the right place to honour him is at the place he would have liked most.

DH trail, case closed and it should called sheepsteeth.

This is one of the very very rare occasions that Mr Teeth actually makes sense. People are *****.

Right before this gets out of hand, its very clear that there are two camps on this, bork with valid arguments, but no matter how muchgoing over it, there will still be two groups of thought. My view is whatever we do has to be good, I mean really good. What is 100% clear is that whatever we do should be at cwmcarn so with this in mind I shall suspend the vote early before any argument breaks out, because to bee honest we can't decide based on two words, xc and dh because there is good and bad of both.

So with that in mind, I shall go back to the nice lady at cognation and find out exactly what is planned and what they would offer us respectively at cwmcarn, and maybe try to set up a meeting with someone face to face and get a couple of you to come with.

Whatever is decided and whatever aside of the fence you are on, let's support this because dh/xc does it matter, what matters is what we make it in Kaise's memory

Don't think you'll get any real argument on that.

Can I just say, that you peeps have/are doing something amazing and if a ickle trail could be done in Fineshade/Wakerley Woods I'm sure Gav and the FC would be obliging. If they weren't I'd just take a big stick to them.

I enjoyed his posts, top bloke. Nuff said from me.

    Quick Update on the trail

Had a reply from Cognation today, work starts on the new downhill at Cwmcarn next year, its being designed at some point obviously before hand by Rowan Sorrell, they are going to get back to us soon with an idea of timescales and then try and arrange a meeting at some point for a suitable section to be chosen and to discuss how we can help with the project. So probably all quiet for a little while now, but I'll keep you all updated as there are updates to update
