Was just thinking before where are the 2 places I'd like to go before I die. Call me stupid, but Chernobyl, Pripyat is second on my list, I heard you can get short trips around there in a vehicle. The first, Mojave Desert, America.
What about you?

Blimey. Both of those places could be the last place to go if it goes wrong.
I'd like to see Everest and probably some pacific island.0 -
The Mojave isn't special enough to be on a bucket list of two. The Painted Desert is more interesting in a way I'd struggle to explain. For me, anywhere in the Himalaya and the Antarctic peninsula. Either of those would make my year.0

1. Susanna Reid's bed (while she's in it)
2. Australia0 -
1. Close to any erupting volcano.
2. I'd love to dive the Great Barrier Reef. Did a brief bit of snorkelling off Magnetic Island many years ago but did not have enough time to do it justice.- - - - - - - - - -

Kenya, Masai Mara and Heron Island off the Great Barrier Reef (or any other Island in the vicinity). Both amazing places to be completely overawed by nature. Also places where there is more or less zero light pollution so the night sky is unbelievable.0

Money no object it would be to watch the Monaco grand prix from a boat in the harbour, and take the family to New York and then Ibiza to relax.1998 Kona Cindercone in singlespeed commute spec

Deserts can be disappointing. I drove through the Negev. It was a bit crap! Like a dead version of the Yorkshire Dales with more pylons......
I don't think I have a number two choice at the moment - could be a number of places.
Number 1 is Svalbard. Might go there next year. I really need to plan something........ It's truly stunning though.Faster than a tent.......0 -

1. Madison Square Gardens to see the Rangers in the play offs.
2. Please refer to number 1.The only disability in life is a poor attitude.0 -
I have a problem with this type of list. I can't help hearing a small voice saying "There you go. Now F**k Off and die"The older I get the faster I was0

I was talking with a friend about visiting Pripyat. Do the Trans-Siberian express too."A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

To Yeovil with Weymouth in the FA Cup and smash them.
That will be enough.0 -

I think Pripyat would be really interesting, if a bit depressing.
It could be within cycling range.0 -
I would like to see North Korea mainly from social anthropological point of view, and then Mongolia or Nepal. Of course i can get a diluted perspective of this by visiting Reading and Rannoch Moor.0
-
I'd love to see the Northern Lights.
But for the second one if I had to see a specific sight before I died, then I'd give that one a miss.
The older I get, the better I was.0 -
Hull and Corby, that way death will come as a blessed relief!0

Do you live up north? I live in North Tyneside and sometimes (if you get a strong solar flare, a clear night and a touch of luck) you can see a small amount of the Lights.Carrera TDF 2011 Limited Edition.

In that case you don't need to visit Chernobyl, you can just go to Farnworth next to Bolton. Far more mutated lifeforms there as well.0
