Quantitative measures of success are overrated.

How do you measure the fact and extent of their over-ratedness?

I have a best-fit multi-variate regressive model I've developed over my last 5 years of PTPing.

    Sh!t. Outed!

Well lacking a best-fit multi-variate regressive model I've gone with Kreuziger and I'll have to live with the bitter taste of Astana....

    I would win PTP but....

I waste too much time on fantasy football, so don't have any for PTP early-season. Come the end of the football season, it's too late to start PTP.

My main problem is i get bored of picking the obvious and being a sheep, then fail miserably and have to pull into line again. I also suffer from over confidence, thinking i've seen an outsider riding strongly in the ardennes and maybe picking up minor placings in some smaller stage races, who is solid descender, Harmon has mentioned at least 14 times and he's a strong long-shot (if they exist) for this mid mountainous stage with the 14km downhill finish. oh BALLS! he fell off in km 3! Back to picking LL Sanchez!

Hard PTP men embrace the jungle juicers, harnessing them to their advantage.
I've had one of the sh*ttest days I've had for a long time and that made me laugh, good stuff Rick

    Morals?

Pro cycling + Large iffy companies and corporations; or dubious national/regional sponsoring organisations?

    Erm...

When it comes to favs for Giro GC, I'll choose Scarponi over Basso. Purely because there's summat I like about him and he sounds a laugh. Basso, on the other hand, I think, is a pious toss-pot. So pious, apparently, he had the drugs, but couldn't bring himself to seal the sin.

My yard-stick for choosing between the favourites now (PTP, or whatever) isn't morals; it's "do I think I'd go for a pint with them?"

That's why I'm doing shockingly poorly at PTP - I've picked all the heavy drinkers.

I don't think I've ever seen Zapatero interviewed, or read much about him. There is precious little exposure for him considering he's a grand tour winner.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

Yeah I suffer a bit from that as well. Though I think my main weakness is not really knowing anything about the teams, riders or routes. Or cycling.

Yeah so PTP IS only a game but I can't bring myself to pick people like Valverde anymore and what bugs me is that those of you who slag off people like him on here then pick him for PTP just to get points. I'd rather score zero points than get them like that.
    Rant over.
