    As I understand it they used the links for a bit but have reverted to pins as they had issues with them.

    Odd as no one else has problems, including KMC... who make Shimano's chains! (or do they no longer make them?).

    Actually KMC themselves have already posted in this thread confirming that they do, in fact make Shimano chains...

    +1. Except we also make Shimano chains, so stick with KMC and Shimano and save the Sram for spreading on crackers.

    In fact, KMC does have a superior design thanks to 100% R&D focus on chains.
