Does anyone know of any 9% gradient climbs in the Surrey of a reasonable length (I'm not expecting continental lengths but a mile or so would be nice)?

Leith Hill from Dorking to Coldharbour, from the point you hit the treeline kicks-up fairly steadily or maybe Crocknorth Lane from East Horsley up to Ranmore, or Pebblecombe from half-way towards Headley?
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Thanks NapD, one of the links in that thread was really helpful. Cadseen, 9% not vital but as I'm in training for an event that has a lot of climbing at about this gradient I'd like to get an idea of what I'll be up against. I've ridden 20%+ and will be doing the Fred Whitton 4seasons challenge but these only help as an intense workout. Need to see what a steady incline is like.
