It looks like you'll be getting some ear plugs then  and at least you know his breathing is good lol .

I take it your saturday outing was up at Gisburn then unless i've got my trails mixed up :o but you enjoyed it out there and that's a great sign of the bike working as it should 8) .

Aye Gisburn, last rest point before whelpstone cragg and the slab. Was a cracking day, couldn't believe how few people were out.
For the observant types, the bike with mine is a cube ams 29er size XL, prob one of very few in the country, it's fecking mahoosive !

Reverb finally arrived today from bike discount after a bit of a caffuffle with the delivery, but the bargain was worth waiting for :)

Wow i hadn't realised how big those wheels are on the cube as i was to busy admiring your bike and the scenery , i'm really surprised it wasn't busy while you were out but at least you got to enjoy the ride as it must have seemed like having your own private play ground out there 8) .

You'll have to let us know how you get on with the Reverb when you've had trial run with it as it certainly looks the part .

They are quite big.. What suprised me though is when we were out another time and I was on the enduro, which is a large, there is not much difference in size between it and the 29er which is an XL. A thing what a lot of people perhaps don't realise also is that if the 29" wheels are fitted with smaller tyres, ie 2.2 or similar, there aint that much overall size difference (assuming you've got bigger tyres on the 26"), certainly not the 3" as you would expect.

You'll have to have a go on it soon pal, as soon as we can arrange a ride !

Treated her to a couple of goodies, a 180mm front disc for a little beefier front end and some all black SS excel grips, as I pinched the red ended ones for the enduro and also as I wanted to get a rid of some of the red on this one.

    Wigan-20120611-00423.jpg

Also swapped the red seatclamp out for a black one, for added stealthness :) Oh and the reverb is obviously now fitted, trimmed the hose to give a nice route with no looping going on. It's so easy to trim / bleed these things..

Reverb is nice, although is it any better than the previous KS i900 I had? certainly not in use but maybe reliabilty wise I hope. Saying that, the only issue I ever had with the KS was grit etc getting in the cable causing the lever to be a bit stiff, the actual post was flawless. I can see this being better on the 'verb as there's nowhere for any grit to get (cable wise).

Looking well used after a day at Llandegla

Hopefully shouldn't be changing anything for a while now.... except I would like a short cage mech for her as the long one does wang about a bit..
