Burning sensation in foot arch

I have done a bit of googling, but cant find anything conclusive, but when I am not cycling, I quite often get a random burning sensation in the arch of my foot.
I dont do any running etc.. just primarily cycling and a bit of squash thrown in for good measure.
I have arch supports in my cycle shoes - the specialized green ones which I bought on the hope that it would eliminate this pain.
The reason I went down this route was because when I used to run, I was fitted with some trainers and was told that I pronate quite a lot -hence the idea of cycling arch support.
I dont wear arch supports in my everyday shoes.
Its not really the end of the world pain - it doesnt affect my cycling as I never get the pain on the bike, but it is something i'd like to understand and get rid of!
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, I'd gladly hear them :-)
thanks
