what are you all doing to have to change it after sex?

do you not put the plastic sheeting down?

    Doing it properly. Oooooh yes.
so you do put the plastic sheeting down?

No. We just accept the fact that some linen will be wrinkled and there'll be the odd wet patch.
Doesn't it dry up fairly quickly upon contact with air?

That TOTALLY depends on what it is.

Anyway, the poll is missing the obvious option - when either of us feels like it's time to change the sheets. Could be anything from a couple of days to many weeks. It just depends.

    Hell to the no.

    Oh go then...

What is it then Rick than needs plastic sheets and that doesn't dry up on contact with air?

    It is Friday after all...

Ms DDD and I got into a conversation about the bedsheet changing. The last ones I felt had just begun to feel right after being put on, you know just the right balance of clean and being slept in and she changed them apparently it had been a week. So I said that was too frequent she says others wise so I needed to come here as the collective knowledge and experience of this place makes the World a better place.

    Oh. Fair enough. Makes sense.

Us? Sometimes, when it seems like they need changing. Last time was last night, before that a handful of weeks ago, some number between 2 & 5 probably, but I don't count them.

It dries up, but I don't think "fairly quickly" is a suitable modifier here.

The scene: Jay W's flat; potential buyers enter stage left. Agent drones on... "here we have a the well-fitted kitchen area, accompanying the cosy and com-pact dining room; here we see the main living space, adjoining it is bedroom one where we see...."

Jay W, dressed in spangly suit, top hat & flamboyantly waving a magician's wand steps forward and dramatically whips away the duvet with the words "ta-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. CLEAN SHEETS. All your very own. Yoursfor£135,000cashsalepreferrednooffers aye thenk yew.".

Pleeease - the duvet is whipped away by my charming assistant aka Mrs JW clad in a gold bikini and thigh boots - at which point the prospective buyers generally turn and run - think we may be doing this wrong

In that case, don't just change the bed sheets, burn the sheets and buy a new bed.

    3wks to a month i'd say.

I always shower in the evening so the bed tends to stay pretty fresh when i'm not 'entertaining'.
