Straight up question, how often?
Food Chain number = 4

    Wife's job. Not a clue.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

Once a week, but occasionally it drifts up to a week and a half or two weeks.

If you did it on Christmas Eve you could use the dirty pillowcases for Santa to put your presents in.... 2 birds with 1 stone....

when i say "when the bed sees some action" what I mean is we sleep with the littlest one in bed, so "action" is milky vom, part digested whey proteins etc. The oldest also gets in bed with us around 2 AM and he is at night time nappy off training age.
Sometimes the sheets last 4-5 days, sometimes change twice a day.

OH always changes the sheets on our bed, and the kids' beds, before we have visitors. Given that these visitors will never even enter our bedroom, and there is absolutely *zero* chance of them getting near the bed (before some of you start making lewd suggestions) this absolutely baffles me...

I have to admit that the OH changes the bedsheets. I am notorious for not changing them. In fact so much so, before we moved in together she came round mine and commented on how "grim" (her words) my bedsheets were and those were new ones I put on that very day...

I think those sheets may have been bought between 5 and 10years prior....

No. We just accept the fact that some linen will be wrinkled and there'll be the odd wet patch.

The scene: Jay W's flat; potential buyers enter stage left. Agent drones on... "here we have a the well-fitted kitchen area, accompanying the cosy and com-pact dining room; here we see the main living space, adjoining it is bedroom one where we see...."

Jay W, dressed in spangly suit, top hat & flamboyantly waving a magician's wand steps forward and dramatically whips away the duvet with the words "ta-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. CLEAN SHEETS. All your very own. Yoursfor£135,000cashsalepreferrednooffers aye thenk yew.".
