    Queen - Now I'm Here.

Terrifyingly I'm becoming increasingly 'Early-Album-Queen-Curious' as I get older.
Nothing wrong with a bit of early album Queen....it's the later stuff that's shite!!

Get yourself a copy of Sheer Heart Attack, first album I ever bought. The opening track Brighton Rock is entirely responsible for me getting and learning to play my first electric guitar.

I have - and Queen II. And Day at the Races. And Night at the Opera... Getting a bit hooked.

(There's a great article about the Queen re-issues last year on the Quietus website.)

I assume you mean What a Wonderful World and how on earth can that be a guilty pleasure, it's an all-time classic. A truly wonderful song that I still have on original 7" vinyl from 1967 (thanks to my F-i-L).

Ray Of Light by Madonna but only because it's the only half decent thing she's done and maybe that ABBA sampled one she done - time goes by or something.
Kylie videos but with the sound off!

Not really guilty pleasures, as I couldn't give a fig if people think I'm wierd; but the missus hates the fact I like them:

Either; 'Highway to the danger zone' or 'Playing with the boys' by Kenny Loggins (both from the classic film 'Top Gun')

And ANYTHING by 'Steel Panther' :D

Donna Summer - I feel love
Art Garfunkel - I only have eyes for you
Gene Pitney - It hurts to be in love
  • Cher - especially the Shoop Shoop Song. Fantastic.
As others have already kind of said, it can't ruin my street cred because I don't have any.

Officially I'm Led Zeppelin/Pink Floyd/Queen - but - Bryan Adams 'Sumer of 69' does it for me. There's a couple of tracks from Barclay James Harvet album 'XII' that makes the hair stand up on my neck - Berlin & Nova Lepidoptera.

I think most of my song collection would be classed as most people's guilty pleasure..

Here it is.. I'm a 38 year old male who likes crap pop music. There, I've said it. Please don't hate me!

How about people feeling sorry for you instead?

That's not a song to be guilty about, that's an epic dance track!

Barry Manilow 'Copacabana' - just typing it has stuck it in my head for the rest of the day

I'll quite often listen to songs from various musicals and quite happily listen to the Les Mis original cast recording. Not going to feel guilty about it though. Also, being an 80s child, most of the music I listen to probably comes into the guilty pleasure category!

Ned's Atomic Dustbin done a great version of this for a NME album. Got the track on tape but have never seen it on cd or as a download. Can anyone help?

You are in the wrong thread with this suggestion, it should have been posted in the Most underrated song of all time.
