Oh is that why its Blu-ray....Well that's my fact for the day!
I believe the properly accepted way to pronounce bluray is to really extend the "bluuuuurgh" just long enough for people to think you're having a stroke, whilst dribbling as much as possible (from the mouth, and any other available orifices), before dropping in the "ray" just before someone actually dials an ambulance.

Copper cable isn't directional in a speaker system
    It's not directional at all.

I have been told to wire up home audio systems with the writing on the (unshielded) cables starting at the amp and reading towards the speakers as the cable was directional. Thought it was a load of bollox back then, still to be convinced. Some people really do have more money than sense. £40k for a lead.....

    Did you do it?

Copper cable isn't directional in a speaker system, at least not outside the amp/speakers. You could do worse than observe the polarity, but I don't know (genuinely) if you'd hear the difference.
I seem to remember the guy telling me after I had wired it. I think i told him to go forth. He was from an av specialist and was taking an extortionate amount of money from the client. They just use as much bs as possible to make the client feel that they are paying for their expertise.

Similar, but not quite. If you've gaaaarp yaaaaaah-ed until 999, then you've gone much too far. You should only extend that until the look of surprise turns into a look of concern.

Yeah I'd started writing something about diodes then clearly didn't crop out quite all the crap I was writing.
What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?
