Morning Scuttlers

Well, I'm off to treherbert where most of the girls are orange.

Long day at work again and just a week and half of training left before I'm back being productive. Pub quiz tonight I think and heading down to Milford for the weekend for my sunday dinner cooked

Much love

    Morning losers!

I've woken to find white stuff on the ground and it falling from the sky. This is not good. I have to drive over the Peninnes later, and I'd rather not waste 5 hours doing the 40min drive.

Boss is back today, so I'm asking for tomorrow off  Hopefully it'll be a quietish day, as I really cba.

    Mornin' kiddie-snatchers

Yesterday was mentally busy in work - and I see today being no different. How lucky am I?

Yesterdays car repair also did not go enitrely to plan, and I need to order some more bits, to replace the bits that have welded themselves together. It's not a diffcilut job to repair, but it's not nice doing it out in wind and rain because the garage door has kapputted.

The bike didn't fall to bits on the way in so at least something still works!

On a postive note, it would appear SWMBO is driving up for the weekend. 1) that makes me smile, and 2) it means the prostitutes of the town can walk the streets without fear for a few nights.

Screw it, I'm going for coffee.

    Onwards!

After yesterdays attempts at snowing, it is bright and sunny here at loch awe

So running, canoeing and walking all on again. Tried canoeing yesterday but as I am only learning I didn't have the spray deck on and the boat filled with water straight away!

Right, now a couple of hours of corporate finance - great(ish)

Got soaked in the sleety puddle ridden weather, should've worn wellies.
Weetabix, work, and finally an evening of rest. Oh what's that? I need to sort out iTunes? Feck.
Was going to fettle the bike but don't fancy standing on the patio in this weather, will just have to get by on a layer of GT85 on Friday, although the gears are starting to make some nasty noises...suppose I should buy some oil or something...

  • Morning all,

Off to the wifes grandmas place to have lunch, then back to our flat to meet people to sell off some of our furniture. Plane tickets booked, so things are starting to really come together for our move back. Just waiting to hear about the flat we want, and if we get it, i'll be super happy!

Lots of money will be spent within the next 2 weeks closing out all our accounts here, which isn't too great, but at least it will all be taken care of.

    Enjoy your day people!

Bah, you lot should live in the sub-tropical Sarf East. A bit of light rain last night and the sun's out now, so it's bike time later on. Unfortunately junior will be in tow so it'll have to be something very flat and easy. Farkin school holidays last too long...

    Morning Moaning Bathplug's,

Was gonna go for a quick tootle around the woods today but it's fecking snowing and blowing a gale and I really don't know if I want to dig out all the winter biking stuff that I packed away last week (when it was riding in shorts and t-shirt weather).

Went to take the dogs out earlier and they looked at me with that "you must be having a fecking giraffe" sorta expression. Experiance has tough me to leave then well alone when their in that mood. Therefore today may become a day of complete lazyness....

    Morning all who are digging......

Snow in sunny Sheffield and as I entered the Kitchen for early morning coffee discovered the back door wide open and my cats looking at me as though I'd been persecuting them. Dug back door out and closed, just the job when all you're wearing is a dressing gown and flip-flops.

Daughters birthday today so got to do family things later

Cancelled bike ride around Ladybower till Saturday
I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

Knowing what the South Wales valleys are like that does sound like an epic. Which valleys are you planning on riding through?

    Afternoon!
Had a crappy weeks Annual Leave, was the victim of debit Card Fraud this week £678 taken from my bank account, all on the 28th March, how RBS authorized that little lot to go through on one day, when my daily limit is £300 i do not know. I have my new debit card, just awaiting my new pin and hoping RBS have refunded me, otherwise i will cause a massive scene.

But back to today, just playing on Fifa, didn't get up till 11, so contemplating whether to go out on the bike or not or wait till tomoz when its less windy and sunnier.

FTFY. This is a kid who hasn't yet dared to venture out onto the steep gnarly rockfest that is the Bedgebury singletrack  We ended up in Dulwich park which is quite flat by Norfolk standards...

And this afternoon, I notice another faux-socialist from the Road section has blitheringly ignored all the warning signs and stepped into CC only to be upset by the content.

Reasons for this happening can be suggested in further posts. You know, things like:

    1) I beleive the poster was seeking an alternative outlet for venting frustration now that there are less threads concerning girls and their attire in the Cake Stop.

    or

    2) He misinterperated the warnings posted both in the Crudcatcher itself, and in the Cake Stop section regarding the Crudcatcher, and wrongly assumed that we had an entire forum dedicted to mudguards and splash protection.

    or

    3) He be dumber than a squirrel*.

*Now, I'm not saying that any poster was dumber than a squirrel - it'd be kinda hard to assess that on the strength of one postin', but I was saying it as way of an example of what you folk may be thinking about yon posters in question. ......just in case said posters were thinkin' 'bout getting all uppity an' all
