100mm stem to 110mm stem?

Hi
I Am very happy with the fit of my new bike. But I am not sure if I would benefit from a 110mm stem over the current 100mm stem.
I dont feel crampped, compact is how I would describe it. One thing I notice, is that when pushing hard and keeping low (not in the drops), My hands are over the brake hoods i.e. my palm is on top of the hood and hand dangles in-front of the brake. When in this postion my forearms are parallel to ground and I have a 90 degree bend in elbow/shoulder.
I am not sure if having my hands in this position shows I need a 1cm longer stem?
Thanks

If it feels right then why change? The position you describe with palms on the hoods is a position I often use as well if I'm in timetrial mode. Best thing to do might be to get a really cheap 110mm stem and give it a go.More problems but still living....0

Just curious really.
If I try and get low while on the tops, it starts to feel like the bars are quite close.0 -
With stems being so easy to change you should give a longer one a try....................................................................................................
