FWIW - I'll be avoiding the internet and downloading the race in its entirety on cyclingtorrents.nl this evening.

    van Avermaet.

It seems BMC aren't in the race, which surprised me. I would have tipped Hushovd to 'show' at least.

I dont reckon Hushvod will show this season to be honest, maybe a stage of the tour but nothing in the classics.
(he'll only go and win P-R now.....)

Especially since they haven't won this season so far.

No Boonen, Chinny or Gilbert riding today. No Nick Nuyens either.

Nuyen's is still injured isn't he?

It's a shame Dwars is getting overlooked - too close to both MS-R and E3?

    Weather is lovely.

93km to go and a group of 13 has a lead of about 90 seconds. Eeckhout is not in the lead bunch....

    Yes.
Funnily enough just about to start...................on Rai Sports 2.
Meanwhile, it looks that due to the bad weather, there will be no live coverage of Catalunya, today.
(So much for Eurosport having more cycling than all the other channels, combined. )

Gap down to 1.25 under impetus from Leukemans splitting the bunch into many small groups.

Gap yo-yo ing. Garmin at the front now. Cav was at the front of the peloton with four Sky riders but got dropped on the climb along with half or so of the peloton.

Chavanel hits the front and puts them in strong single file.

Bauer riding hard for Garmin and doing a top job.

Terpestra on a flier - went at ~ 31km to go, now 16 km to go and 1 minute in hand over Wallays who's just ahead of the remains of the break who in turn are being chased down by Pippo-marshalled chasing group

The remains of the break have been caught by the achtervolgers (which sounds really painful), Terpstra has about 90 seconds and 13km to go
