Due to work and baby sitting the majority of my rides have to be between 2 - 2 1/2 hrs long....I normally just go out and change routes but is there a way I could be getting more out the short time, any links or advice appreciated.
I'm far from a racing snake but can maintain 17mph over 3 hrs but feel I could be doing better if I trained smater?

I find 2 hours is enough for most interval sessions - including ride to a suitable hill, intervals, then ride home. Depends what you're training for though as to what you might want to do.More problems but still living....0

I have never done interval sessions...do I need HRM or would speed/time be enough to do these sessions effectively...looking to do my first 100mile in Summer.C490

If you're not training to race I wouldn't worry too much. If you are training to race, I still wouldn't worry too much. But if you're definitely not training to race, just ride your bike.CAPTAIN BUCKFAST'S CYCLING TIPS - GUARANTEED TO WORK! 1 OUT OF 10 RACING CYCLISTS AGREE!0
