Hey, Im thinking about starting racing in 2 months and i want to specialise my training a bit.
I will mainly be riding crits and time trials with short punchy climbs and im wondering what
types of intervals would be best for this type of racing.
thanks :)

Different types of intervals for different types of racing....

    2 x 20, or 2 x 15 as a kick off (google em) for short time trialling.

Sprinting and 3 min power more relevant for crits, so intervals to suit....again google is your friend for specific workouts.

Personally, I would do the shorter, harder intervals, and they will benefit your TT-ing also, if you are just starting out. Presume you have a good winter of mileage in your legs...
