The "holes" in the plot were what I'd expect from an amateurish low budget college sci-fi movie project
This sums up the movie very well indeed but if you haven't seen Promethius, don't click on that link0 -
^^^^ Thats pretty accurate that.DO MORE OF WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY0

I just got round to clicking the link sums it up nicely0 -
Watched this last night (as there was nowt on the crystal bucket) and was completely underwhelmed.
Just read http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net ... s_nutshell and, as above, it's on the money. You're the light wiping out my batteries; You're the cream in my airport coffee's.0 -

Yeah, the film was shit.
Although not knowing it was a prequel to Alien didn't really help.0 -
the Blu Ray just gone on sale with alternative begining and ending
isnt that a fecking different film
or just admitting they need an alternative middle0 -
Saw the previews, then when I saw the film I realised the previews showed the best bits. Very meh film in my opinion.http://www.youtube.com/user/Eurobunneh - My Youtube channel.0

Saw this a few days ago.
Seems to have been suffering a case of fancy spaceship effects failing to make up for crap plot that makes little sense. Most likely caught from the Star Wars sequelprequels.0 -
well i enjoyed it, so a big fat boo to you lot.0
-
I enjoyed it as well..............
I'm easily pleasedI'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

What a let down, hugely missed opportunity.0
-
I liked it, plenty of good visuals to make up for any "huh, what?" moments.
Bring on the next one.0 -
I thought it started well but just ended blandly with little explanation for anything. Pointless and fo that reason, I am out.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0
-
I kinda thought it was the whole point of the film... it wasn't going to explain anything but gave you snippets for you to let your imagination run away with..0

Finally watched it last night, thought it was very poor. one main issue not addressed is if the aliens were going back to destroy their work (i.e. us) why try and use such a stupid complicated method as they tried that also seemed to easily get out of control and be lethal to them as well? Why not just use a germ/virus that they have immunity to etc?
How come the doc got pregnant but not infected like the would be father? Could they not have selected a better crew? Typical stupid spaceship crew. Given the advance in tech in some areas and the current level of knowledge the exo-skeleton was very basic. etc0 -

probably best not to start on the plot holes, seeing as the plot consisted entirely of holes.

Not that I much care but I do find it funny that some people are getting so denfensive about it on Scott's behalf. After having read many hundreds of sci-fi books and countless movies I know what I like and I do get that some stories are written to make you think not just entertain you, but there are so many books that do it far better than this movie is meant to.0
