    Afternoon scuttlers

Its now safe to say I know my way to Aberdare, Barry Island and Merthyr Tydfil, and in the process of learning I have become very tired and bored with train driving all over again.

Good news is I'm finished for the day today and off until monday afternoon to do more learning. I plan to spend the weekend

    a) drunk
    b)at the rugby
c)on a bike on Sunday, (location to be decided but taking Mrs G's sisters fella to learn from the best......ie me........the best at not being very good)

Anyway for further details about my life, please feel free to contact me directly and I will do my best to fill you in

I imagine it's like the snow we get. White, cold, you know, like snow.... ;)

Its like walking on eggshells here, the bosses didnt find out about their jobs yesterday and their still waiting now. Hmm could be a long day. All this starts for me next week, i have already prewarned the wife that i might be a bit spikey.

Been like this for me 20 out of the last 24 months. Meh. Interview in Basildon on Monday.

First round of phone calls just come out, it aint looking pretty

Anywhere near a large American arms company?

Christ I hope not, no crud should be armed

Why not? we need the right to bear arms so that we can defend the CC from the hippies!

Deodorant is enough to keep them away
just down the road 2 mins! I am a beardie hippy (or so i'm told by the 29er haters) but do know how to apply both deodorant and indeed brush my hair!

Job interview's to look after the site. At the moment I'm looking after half of Suffolk, so it will be a bit different, commute's the only thing that's a downer, other side of Colchester but it beats the 140 mile round trip to Lowestoft.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Will do. Hopefully there's usable WiFi this time - it was shite in Meribel.
It looks like there's plenty of snow depth, but it's going to be spring conditions I reckon. Not too bothered, since we had absolute powder heaven in Meribel in January.
I understand that skiers aren't big fans of spring conditions, is that right? I actually quite enjoy it on the board, just need to wax more often to keep the speed up.

As for the snow being like ours... Erm, not quite. The snow conditions in January were just incredible. I've never seen that quantity of snow in my dreams before, and it was such dry, fluffy powder. It was like boarding on clouds. It was almost like ash, I guess. Crazy.
And when we got there, the snow was up to the top cables on the chairlifts
  • You've only just got back!

the only problem apart from the distance will be getting out of basildon in the evening, the retards cant drive for toffee and clog up the roundabouts and doesnt matter how many signs there are they still get in the wrong lanes!

    Me?

Much jealous pi**taking has been done at work because of my two boarding trips in almost as many months.
I'm hoping to put some snow miles into the Endomondo challenge again too

Ta - we sink a bit more in spring conditions but it ain't that bad really. I usually go for a high resort so snow's pretty good and you can get the 'squeaky' powder up top if you want it.

Where are you going this time round?

    evening all

YeehaaMcgee, in the nicest possible way you are a c*nt! i wish i was going snow boarding! have a good one!

just finished building up the edison (cheers CWNT) and took it for a ride round the block, its smooth as a knife through butter! only issue i have had is that the rear rear i have is slightly too short so i have had to come up with some creative routing to get it to fit as the lbs only has 1 set of shimano 1700mm hose and its £30, 30 sheets for a house dark off thats what i say!

i must admit i am very excited about riding it tomorrow!

now for beer, tv and some time with missk, gigiddy!
