    Mornin' Pantie theives

Fryday = Bacons. Full fry up in approx 1 hour that should see me right for the day.
Then - quick document review and further desktop research
Later - drive drive down to the 'rentals
Tomorrow - ongoing race-car rebuild. We have 5 weeks before the first race and we need shizzle like a windscreen and strucutral members without holes in.
    Tomorrow night - a 'not-stag' do at a local
    Sunday - Cannock. .....in theory.

    Now - coffeeeeeee!

    Onwards!

    Morning Numptys,
Last night was spent rebuildung my bike, it was meant just to be refit rear hanger, it then turned into rearmech strip and rebuild, rear hub strip and rebuild, front chain device just strip. new rear pads that i fitted last saturday are already half worn and the front pads are near on dead after 2 laps of a wet Bedgbury
once i finished doing all that it was pretty much time for bed, but had to have the obligatory ride around the block with VWdog, and tried out the night vision on the head cam. Its poo, dont bother.
    tonight is Pizza night,
    Tomorrow is more kids partys,
sunday is riding somewhere where it wont be a complete bog after all this rain? Suggestions welcome.

  • Morning homos.

Up early, did another 30min on the turbo and added to the distance challenge thread. I'd forgotten just how much of a motivator that challenge can be.
I reckon I'm going to go for my first "real-life" ride since Oct tomorrow. Just a short one to see how I get on with real hills instead of turbo simulated ones. Still can't quite manage to stand on the pedals to get the power down so will just be taking it steady.

Off out in a minute to watch the eldest in a school play and see if she remembers the lines she's been rehearsing non-stop for the last month.

    Laters.

    Morning Stalkers and Stalkees,

Dropping the Bruiser off at my LBS as the shock has been playing up a bit and want to get it sorted before any more downhill action. Then it's off to Boots for a (half price) eye test as I haven't had one in yonks and I reckon I'm getting a bit long sighted in my old age.

Then one of junior's mates comes round to play after school and I'm 'supervising' - think herding cats and you're not far off the mark. Actually I'm just going to stay out the way and surf the interweb unless things get really out of hand.

    Quick cup of coffee first...

@VWsurfbum: is Chicksands any good for you? A Mate who has been said it holds up pretty well in the wet.

    morning

Today is tired, yesterdays 71 mile commute in & out of work on the bike has killed me - not fit enough :(

Today is work, work, work followed by pub - so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

    Morning bumders

Uni meh today. Also hopefully hear back from our potentially new landlord when she's decided whether or not they'll let us have pets in the house. Letting agent is hopeful about it, he said it'd be bloody suicide for her if she didn't. FFS she wants to rent the house to students, but given the only students who live in the town are vet students fixated with animals she'll struggle to find any tennants willing to rent it. Shame because it's really nice.

Anyways, after uni I'll be generally monging around, can't be arsed with going out anywhere tonight.

    6 days to bikes.

    'ning potatoes

Got home at 1am last night, after a day of snowboarding for 5 hours, packing and travelling. Nothing like trying to fit shoot loads into a day. Morzine was great, met some lovely new people which means I should have more options for boarding holidays inthe future as the people I normally go with are all married/got no money/boring.

Just had breakfast and now deciding what to do with my day. Need to fit a new chain to the Stumpinator, could be fun as it's not something I've done before, time to learn!

    Mehning losers.

Today I feel like absolute shoot. My sore throat has now resulted in me coughing up more shoot than a sewage works every hour or so, but it's like coughing up shards of glass whilst it happens :( The worst thing is I think that this will all blow over by the end of Sunday, meaning I'm fit and healthy again for work on Monday

No idea what my plans for today are. CBA doing anything.

Taking BB off the trek then painting the woodwork in the house.

The missus has a new job location and was moaning about the travel into center of town and she came up with a fantastic term for Commuters- ROAD LICE, one I've not heard before but then again until recently I've not had any reason to deal with them. Brilliant I thought.

    ROAD LICE :)
I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

  • Morning all,

Today will be spent investigating a move and job switch to somewhere with proper hills (The Alps) and that speaks something based on German.... Aside from that I shall endeavour to do as little as possible

ARSE!!!! Stupid landlady still says no to dogs.

Consequently we're resorting to plan B/C. Going to view them again next week. They're not as nice, and I'll have to make space for the bikes myself, maybe even buy a shed, but they're close to the bike shop, and 24hur tesco, and nearer the train station so it's not that bad. Meh.

Monging about, playing PS3 this afternoon. Sorted.
