I think that part of the problem is that some fans seem to quote from an invisible rule book, written back when cycling was a nice, fluffy sport and nobody cheated.

Good to see Nibali back to winning ways after a dissapointing year last year. Does anyone know whether he's focussing on the Tour or the Giro this year?

They'll probably just ride as much of the course as the feel like and then abandon. Not much point bothering with tomorrow's TT.

    Err got it totally wrong.

Seems they were ahead of the peloton for a bit.

    Apologies!

Last day of racing before la Primavera for him.

Could he be sandbagging, Cav managed this quite convincingly in 2009 before winning MSR?

    Sprinters can sandbag.

Phil's shown nothing exciting this year, and he's not the kind of rider to rein it in.

No, I think your probably right. You'd never rule him out completely though...

Loved the way Sagan sat for the first part of the climb whilst others were all out of the saddle. That kid is so strong. A strong MSR fav right there i think...

Last year he was doing no-handed wheelies up the Angliru.

Trademark J-Rod. Another impressive ride from Sagan, too.

The new Eurosport guy sounded a bit weird at first, what with the pronunciations, but he obviously knows what he's talking about.

6 secs back for Nibs. That's do-able tomorrow.

    Sagan did good work there.

Not seen much of the T-A coverage, just the bit yesterday after Paris-Nice finished. Is it James Richardson? Hosted gazzetta football italia on channel 4 about ten years ago. Good presenter.

Nibali to take GC in the TT tomorrow? Probably. Hope so for the grit he's shown this week

No, someone called Robbie Hatch. Never heard him before.

Coldeportes not doing so well in this race. Best guy on GC is Duarte at nearly 6mins down. Maybe it is too cold...

He presents the guardian football weekly podcast (which is twice a week...)

    It's really very good.
  • Good finish that. Agree that Sagan was making up for the other day. Anyone know what's happened to Evans in this race? BMC don't seem to be firing at all.
