good routes in ayrshire

just moved to ayrshire,does any one know any good hills an training routes in and around ayrshire?

    yip, plenty... where in Ayrshire are you? Dalry Moor nr Hunterston for a good steep long hill climb. plenty of lanes which keep you off the main roads.
    lots of local clubs too. Pm me or get onto Braveheart forum for more of a scottish slant to things.

    cheers pal,im in irvine.iv found sum nice lanes but no realy steep climbs or long climbs.gona head towards dalry moor see if i can find that hill!!!

    Hills!!!!!

    Just south of Ayr you can ride round (deep breath) Nick o Balloch, Tairlaw, Hadyard, the Screws, Wallaceton, Dundonald hill, Glenalla, Largs Hill, The Byne. You could always do them in reverse as well :D

    Our club (Ayr Roads CC) ride round them regularly. I'm sure I've missed out a few there as well but these are the main climbs. If you looking for some data PM me and I can show you them from my Garmin.
