    The best man definitely won: a well-deserved victory. I'd have felt sorry for him if Tommeke had won, even though I was supporting Boonen.

    Decent race, too. Now the Flemish media is going nuts about VanMarcke.

    In the final kilometre, i asked my 3-year-old who he thought was going to win. Flecha was leading, then Boonen and VanMarcke. He said "the one at the back". :shock:
    I said that he was well-placed, but that Tom Boonen was the better sprinter. Shows what I know, but I'll listen to his tips in future.

    There's nothing to beat watching Flemish races, on Sporza, in the springtime!

    A sprint into a headwind after a selective course like that is never a normal sprint.

    VanMarcke rode pretty well in E3 last year if I remember right?

    What's worrying he's the same age as me!

    Definitely one for the future.

    Was reading Vanmarcke also was 4th in a bunch sprint in the Vuelta.

    Looks like Boonen took the wrong wheel.

    I think he came 4th in E3 last year. Might be wrong.

    Was hearing last night that Boonen's admitted he rode the race ' too impulsively'.
