Hi,
I have been dieting now since Christmas to try and shed some weight and found that in the beginning the kg’s came off quite easy but of late things has slowed down. Read some good advice in another topic on hear about writing down what you eat per day and then try and calculate the actual calories consumed. Was certainly surprised to see how much I consumed without realising and now that I know this and have adjusted my diet I seem to be back on track again.
I came across this useful tool:
http://bwsimulator.niddk.nih.gov/
It has helped me calculate the right amount of calories I can consume a day, targets etc. So I thought it would be worth sharing with others. I am aware that these average calculations are not always 100% accurate but this one I found very good to help estimate how much to eat a day.
