Its well worth a drive up there and its never really to busy. Everytime i have headed over to cragg its been pretty much deserted. Dont worry about others.
Gisburn is about 45. mins away from bolton if you havent already been.Papa? Nicole0 -
I asked the same question here. Lee is ace fun, there are some challenging bits but if you stick to the red everything is roll-able. I've been in the week and been the only person there (not really advisable) and early on weekends and there haven't been too many people there, if you are bothered. As it isn't a load of singletrack if you need to get out of the way of someone quicker than you it is easily done as there are loads of places where the trail forks. Just get up there.0

will get my self there then gonna go at weekend thanks for the hlp guys0

get yourself over to the quarry you will love it...
remember the trails are there for everyone to use,, and everyone started as a beginner once.. yes it can get pretty busy up there at a weekend especially on a sunday..
if anyone gives you any crap you could practace your boxing and knock em out...
we tend to hit lee most weekends so i'm going i will gladley hook with you to show you round and give you some tips/help you out...www.bearbackbiking.com

I'm gonna head up on Friday? Is the Futures Park office used on weekdays? Is it ok to park on there on a weekday too?0

Yep Future's park is busy weekdays, the council is based in the offices. Uusually space to park on the access roads at the back of the quarry (Unlees JJO's fleet of lorries is in the, big yellow and black artics). It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -

I'll be up on Saturday, either about 0900 or 1330 depending upon when I'm allowed to play out.0

I only managed an hour and a half up there today as I was pushed for time, but had a great time. There are some of our traveller friends set up just behind futures park; they didn't seem to be any trouble but they had some dogs "daawgs, if you like Guy Ritchie films" who are proper little bastards chasing you as you do the last little section before the car park.0

I was up early this morning and went over to Cragg with Grant43, ace ride apart from the fall in the car park when setting off (still don't know what happened) and the near fall just on the rocky bit before the cattlegrid (sorry to the guys I made brake). Nice 2.5 hours though, that bit back from Cragg to Lee is ace fun.0
