Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!!!!!!!
Mondraker make some immense looking bikes, this being one of the best.0 -

Went for a ride this morning, the bike is fast! Climbs as well as my Whyte B19c and is very stable DH.
It's now having a new chain and cables fitted since they needed doing. Front forks will be with Mojo shortly for a service and Kashima treatment. Rear shock will be going in next month for the same.0 -
Looks lurvely - good spec as well. What extras do you get for buying the 10th anniversary special jobbie?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
-
It's primarily the colour scheme I think... Oh, and a sticker saying '10th Anniversary Special Edition' lol.
I'm changing the X9 shifters for X0 gold and may change the Crank Bros bars for some carbon high risers. Also need some match makers for the bars to keep everything tidy, oh and a reverb.0 -
lovely looking bike0

This bike is bloody quick! The riding position isn't 100% to my liking, too low down/racer like for me. Getting some Crank Brothers Iodine 11 All Mountain Riser Bars to sit me up a little more and give me a little bit more manoeuvrability.
The tyres are SHOCKING! Went out last night in the snow and fell off quite a few times, where everyone else running Maxxis were fine! Thinking about a Crossmark on the rear and a High Roller or Ignitor on the front.
Looking into Reverbs now, original seat post is 31.6mm 350mm and I have it about 3/4 of the way up, so which post length shall I go for, 355 / 380 or 420mm?
Cheers

Just ordered two 2.2" Rubber Queens UST Black Chilli. Will be good to compare them to the Kendas which I have found to be rather shocking...
Added a few cheeky Mondraker stickers to the bike today, looking rather dapper if I say so myself!
Out for a ride with my local club at 08:30 tomorrow. Forecast says -4, happy days..........0 -

Only thing i'd change is the forks but that's cos i got it in for 32foxes.
Love my mondy it's a great bike you will love it :P0 -
Very nice liking this a lot.
May be a silly question but are the spokes stiffer than normal?
And how do you find the ride is with them?0 -
The wheels are rather 'Marmite'. You either get a good or and bad set.
Mine have been faultless so far, and they've took some punishment! The bike as a whole seems to pedal VERY well, not sure if it's any one part which makes it so, but it just works!
I'm sending the forks off next month to Mojo for a service and a kashima coating
Looking to buy some XTR SPDs since I'm REALLY not getting on with the Crank Bros Candy 2s!
Reverb has been purchased and should be here tomorrow.0 -
Just ordered a Crank Bros seat clamp to go with the rest of the bike:
And also some Shimano XTR PD-M985 'Trail' SPDs:
Now I need to stop spending this month!!!0 -

I've said that every month for the past few years when it came to my bike, but I just never seem to get a grip of it. lol0 -
I used to love the look of these frames and I know the ride really well, but ever since I saw the new mondrakers with the 10mm stem that hump on the top tube has never looked as good as I thought it did. I'd still get one though.0

I love the look of it and it get SO many compliments!
Fitted my 2012 Reverb today, the match maker tidied the handles bars up nicely too.0 -
oh don't get me wrong, they are awesome. Just me nitpicking0
-
My Rubber Queens have arrived (£51 each, OUCH!) and I've also ordered some new bars. Ended up going with some Truvativ Noir Team carbon fibre riser bars (nice 20mm rise). I think the gold decals on the bars will go nicely with the rest of the bike...
Same as these:
I'll get some more pics up once everything is fitted...0 -
Looks mint, I've got a Factor RR Ltd on the way, can't wait!0

Sorry chap, was lucky to find the Noir Teams, shall be keeping them for sure!
You can get them from here for £80 though: http://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/product/117345.html0 -
Fitted the bars today, they look the s**t! The 20mm rise really makes for a better riding position too, bike feels spot on now!
Still waiting for my goodies from Rose Bikes to arrive, hopefully they'll be here this week...
I've also ordered some black ODI 'Troy Lee Designs' grips with some gold end caps and looking to buy a chain device to eliminate chain slap.
Bike will be stripped down tomorrow and have its bearing replaced (just a precautionary measure)...
We're getting there though. Will post pics once all the bits are fitted.0 -
Nice bike, what probs are you having with back bearing for you feel the need to change it???has it worn or have you been told there's a problem! My brother was thinking about buying one of these bikes but I don't think he's been on this forum!0
