Peak District roads...

Have just put a days holiday in for Wednesday, and am planning to go out from Sheff, through Matlock, Via Gellia, Winster, Monyash, Taddington, Tideswell, Calver, home.
Anybody been out that way today, and are the roads clearing?
Was out in Hope Valley on MTB yesterday and roads were snow covered, but I would rather be out on the road bike if conditions suit.

Can only speak for the immediate area around Matlock and that was in a car on my way to work this morning. The main roads that were cleared of snow on Sunday morning (A6 etc) are fine but anything else is still icy in parts. A lot will depend on temperature tomorrow I guess.
I wouldn't go out personally, but my riding buddies constantly tell me I'm a wuss!0 -
A lot of thawing today and most roads clear but it's going to be a very cold one tonight and the roads will be deadly tomorrow... personally, I'll be out on the mtb.0

Just an update for anybody venturing out into Peak, all roads were clear and dry, even back lanes.0
