What forks would you refit to a Cube Acid, Taking Dart 3 off

I've bent my forks and need to replace them, My Cube Acid was fitted with Dart 3 which are a spring fork. I'm thing of making it a Llandegla and Cannock trail park bike, so some dual air forks would be great. How much can I change it from standard?
Has anyone seen a great deal about,

What's your budget and what travel fork do you need?0
-
Rebas of the same travel.
Which depends on what you can find for the amount you want to spend."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I like the Acid for the price I got it for, I like the HT for climbing. But the forks died (my fault). My budget is around £350 but I don't want to spend all that if I don't have two. I like to climb as fast as I can. But I would like the forks to work really well and take all the roughness out of the trail.
As too fork travel I'm not really sure. I would like to keep the bike at the same ride height (geometry) but if I can have some more travel that would be ace. I'm 40 years old and have come into mountain biking from years of riding/racing enduro motor bikes. but I know cock-all as to the best part to put on a mountain bike. I'd like to keep it light for all day epic rides.I'm not a racer, but I like to churn out 2-3hr rides,

As Nick suggested, Rebas would fit the bill albeit at the top end of your budget. I found these after a quick search-http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/product/33946/RockShox_Reba_RLT_Dual_Air_Forks_2011
have a look at sites like CRC, Merlin, On One etc. Also, put a WTB ad up, you could get a bargain.0 -
bargain, but you could get better i suppose http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FORSRETK/ro ... th_lockout0

I went for these as an upgrade on my bike. Was going to get some Rebas but decided to plump for these instead and they are very very good! Have made such a difference to the bike. With the 10% you get as a member and also 5% cash back from Quidco (both free to sign up to) then they came in at just under £300. Nearer the top of your budget but IMO well worth the money.

I started a similar thread last week and was recommended theses.... http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FORSREBRLT26-SIL-9-CR-118/rockshox_reba_rlt_dual_air_120mm_fork_with_motion_control___black_and_silver___9mm_qr___crown_adjust___1_1_8
I get to try them today0 -
but I would keep the travel to 100mm on that bike. so if it is longer check that it can be reduced as the handling will change and not for the better IMHO."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I've found these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/marzocchi-marathon-lr-suspension-fork/ They're an air shock, with a three year warranty and 80-120 adjustable travel (with spacers in the box) and weigh in at 1.9kg or 4.1Lbs for only £197.
What do you people think, anyone tried them?I'm not a racer, but I like to churn out 2-3hr rides,

 I didn't look that hard. Found these http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FORSREGSOL/rockshox_recon_gold_rl_solo_air_100mm_fork_with_poplock £189 isn't bad. Are Dual Air that much better than Solo Air pressure? I'm not a racer so will I notice the difference?I'm not a racer, but I like to churn out 2-3hr rides,

dual air is just more adjustability. you can have different pressures in the positive and negative chambers to produce different results. my Revelations are dual air, i have slighty more, about 10psi, pressure in the negative chamber to give a softer start to the stroke, so it absorbs a bit more trail chatter.
but the pressure is still up high enough to give control on the bigger hits. i would definatly go for dual air over solo.
unless your lazy and dont want the hassle, then go for the possibly cheaper and lighter solo air.2011 KHS Full Susser Carbon 29er Race BuildClank wrote:M'eh, I might just go back to zapping it with frikken lay-zur beeeems. And sharks.0 -
Will the Recon Gold RL come with a shock pump? I'm thinking of upgrading my Suntour XCRs as they stiffen up on longer rides until it's like having them locked out - I can also only use about 80mm of the claimed "120mm" travel0

Often these reduced forks are without pump.0

I Have these forks, not really set them up properly yet or taken them for a proper hammering but After trying my hardest to bottom them out on a fairly soft pressure I did not succeed. I'm a F@t F'cker at 19.5st So i recon when pumped up the're gonna be great and for the money don't think you'd find better. Although at an extra £60 odd for the Reba's if you've got the cash might be worth a shout!
Only thing I have noticed is the lockout doesn't completely lock out. I can still get about 15mm travel out of them!
Oh and yeah they didn't come with a pump.0 -
i'm +1 for the recons, I have the coil sprung recon golds, I love em.. although not quite as light as the solo air...Always remember.... Wherever you go, there you are.

Rebas are £225 at Merlin.0

Oh - I was just looking at a manual for the fork and it recommends around 70-85psi. Could I achieve this with a 120psi track pump? (I realise this is a bit of a thread hijack so I apologise! Sorry! One answer and I'll stop!)0

Thanks fella. I'm sick of looking but it's paid off. I'm loven the 10% off for one week only. It indeed brought the price down to £225.

This the 1 week offer they started on the 26th December? To replace the VIP15 offer which was much better?0

Brilliant. They've turned up and first impression is how light they feel, I just need to get them fitted into the bike. I'm missing the star washer that holds the top cap on to the top of the fork tube. Is it possible to remove this from the old forks?.I'm not a racer, but I like to churn out 2-3hr rides,
