Cannondale R500 (stolen so I don't technically own it)
Raleigh Routier (bag of cack but runs - just about)
Raleigh Sprint (Off the road, planning on transferring parts from above bike to get it working but not had time)
Kona Stuff (Hasty ebay buy after 'Dale was stolen)
Kuota Ksano(mangled rear mech hanger which I have replacement, also have new rear mech just need to get wheels, cassette and chain but haven't found the time again(or money))
No name bag o' cr@p Tesco special. (found this with wrecked rear wheel and mech, called police who came to collect it and laughed and said they'd put it on file but doubted anyone would claim it. fitted with new rear mech, spair rear wheel and does the job.)
Really should take a trip down the tip.

4 of them are 'pub bike' quality, the rest scrub up very well.

    The correct number - 5!

    Look 585 (2010)
    Ribble Gran Fondo (2010)
    Orange P7 (2008)
    Dawes Horizon (1990)
    Raleigh Record Ace (1980)

Hopefully, that'll be it unless I get on the Dave Yates framebuilding course.
    Faster than a tent.......

Commuter/station bike- Kalkhoff Coup du Monde a 70s tourer, £30 Ebay special.
Good Bike- A Vitus Shuffle frame with spesh forks and Campag Veloce group.
MTB- Raleigh Stonefly A low end early 2000s hard tail.

Love all 3, the Vitus is a solid and fairly quick bike which has taken me through club rides, TTs and when the weather is good is used for the 50mile comute to uni.
The Kalkhoff is heavy but built like a brick wall, I use it for getting round London when I am with my girlfriend and for getting to the station/ shops when at home. Other than its anoying habit of changing up gears when I am out of the saddle on climbs it has never given me any grief.
The Raleigh is heavy and slow but I still use it to ride trails with a few friends who are of the baggy clothing persuasion and occasially tackle my local (quite tame) downhill track.

I have two, a mid 80's Puegeot and a Trek 2.3 I bought last fall. Started riding again two years ago.
  • " At present, Wilier Mortirolo I bought last year & Focus Culebrop I got in 2008....getting nagged to sell the Focus now though :(
  • I thought I was being greedy - until I saw some of the replies....

    For my sins I have;

    1. GT mtb.
    2. Planet X carbon stealth TT.
    3. Ribble Nero corsa.
    4. Vitus Razor.
    5. Fort 7005.
    6. Battaglin Vicenza.

Plus, there is about 10 frames loads of wheels/brakes/bits that I plan to nail together and flog off. Also going to refurb the Battaglin and sell as It is surplus to needs.....

Wow, some serious numbers. Good to know that I'm normal (contrary to what I'm being told at home...)
France: Merlin Magia, Kenesis Racelight RC
UK: Airborne Zepplin, Dawes Giro 300, Hewitt Audax.

    Just lacking a mtb....

    Yak
  • I've got three... a Genesis Equilibrium 10, Genesis Croix de Fer plus a Genesis Flyer that's in my folks' garage in Merseyside. Nice to know that this is a relatively small collection going by some of the posts here- I shall have to dig deep for that recumbent or Ellis Briggs Randonneur soon!

I posted in this thread in January but that was before I sold the Ridgeback, had the Giant nicked and put the insurance money towards the CdF

The Battaglin Vicenza is nearly done, I've swapped a 'shopper' for a Dawes Scorpio racer - this is now in bits and being refurbed.
Anyone want a black Battaglin road bike with Campag mirage/veloce mix group ?

My wife think I have too many bikes, she doesn't understand these things.
    I have:
Kona Jake, used most of the time.
Pinnacle Evo 1.0 hardtail MTB, bought off a neighbour, couldn't refuse for the asking price.
Marin Nail Trailrigid MTB, bought in '97. First decent bike as an adult.
    Wife has:
    Diamondback rigid MTB
Hercules town bike, '50s vintage for going to the station.
    Son has:
Frankenbike, Kinesis MTB frame, looks rough without paint but rides really well.
Steel frame road bike, unkown origin. Frame is nicely made with reasonable details, quite light. Currently being painted before being pressed in to use as school transport. Being a 25" frame I may borrow it on occasion.
    Daughter has:
    A bike, with flowers.
There are also a unicycle nobody can ride and an '70s Apollo folder in the garage.
I think I need more bikes. A nice light road bike for a start.
