Elite Realaxiom cable

Hi
I have a second hand Realaxiom
I was wondering if a standard cable form console to PC would work, or does it require a genuine elite one for £39?

    Just a standard USB to USB B I think it is - take the console into comet and buy the lead that fits - just make sure it's long enough.

    It looks like the same as a printer cable socket "square'ish"

    Sorry, I understand now looking at the cables and different usb connections, I only thought there was the standard type
