    1) get more Air time (seem to be a bit of a girl when it comes to getting proper air)
    2) get race fit (properly not just getting by like this year)
    3) pay off credit card that took a spanking last year and pay for a decent holiday somewhere hot, sunny and dry!

For number 2 get a set of rollers and a cheap road bike (nice merlin for £400 at the mo, with discount and before cashback). Try pedalling stationary with one foot!

This year I must make more of an effort to see the folks.

Not dificult, as the old man pointed out just before Christmas that I hadn't bothered going to see them at all last year. Oops.

Will be paying them a visit on Wednesday as they live not far from Cannock so I can get a cheeky ride in. Riding at Cannock is exactly what I imagine riding around North Wales would be like following some kind of environmental disaster.

I'm thinking of setting up a spin bike/bike on rollers in my old filing room, as all the cabinets are being emptied. the only problem would be the big boss who works upstairs turns a funny colour of red when ever he see's any of my bike bits :?

I now have a similar problem as despite the fact that my boss takes all day out to sign a contract tender that takes 5 minutes, it seems I'm not allowed to have any time out. this along with comments made to one of my minions has made up my mind to leave.

thing is, i'm at work 12 hours a day, in that 12hrs there's obviously time where i could just be plugging out the miles in front of a slave computer? so after work i cant get out every night, once maybe twice, and even then its hard to put together a 2hr loop or even going round and round the same loop for 2hrs as a decent training route. As i have no XC bike at all atm is really fecking with my head and body, so i will be so far behind when race season starts, where i finished on quite a high.

    1. lose the last of the injury weight
    2. Finish the module I started with the OU
    3. Get fit/sort the ankle out
    4. Ride more
    5. Learn how to do 180's on my board (in other words, MTFU)
    6. swear less
    7. Get rid of the crud that's hanging around (mentally and physically - my house is full of rubbish)

hmmm that's rather a lot, better stick to that.

whether these will actually be kept or not i don't know, but ahh well worth a shot!! :D

    1. stop eating shite food all the time and eat abit better
    2. ride more and more, seriously need to get as fit as ever for this summer, so i can carry more through the shocking welsh winter months
    3. get back below 12 stone, relates to points 1. and 2.
    4. more pro-active work ethic, basically, don't leave everything til the last minute
    5. look after both bikes, rather than just chuck them away after each ride, ashamedly neither is particularly well looked after, so more of my time, effort and monies will be put aside for tinkering and mending and general maintenance, first thing of which is take the shoddy raceface BB back to the lbs under warranty, never have i seen such a piece of wank in my life, it's dire, it really is, especially considering it cost £47 quid!!
    6. try out some of this DH enduro lark, seems like my kinda riding!! (also relates to point 2.
    7. ride the DH trails more, get some more confidence and skillz, mainly for point 6.
    8. realise that i actually only need one bike, with one as a spare winter bike, and not become obsessed on blowing my student loan, although this is negotiable for certain things if deals come up

    think that's it!!
