The newer mega-Magicshines... The P7s brought power to the masses, but the MJ872 isn't just a bargain, it's better than most of the competition. Outstanding.
Also, Specialized's Clutch Control 2.3... Something I've been wanting for a while, it's basically downhill rubber on a regular carcass. Sticks like spunk in the bath, weighs a sensible amount, rolls well...
And why not, Specialized Hillbilly- because cutting bits off a new tyre is just morally wrong. By the end of next year everyone else'll be making a pre-cut spike, you watch. Fab.
And the Carbon 456. Nuff said on that one really.Uncompromising extremist0 -
The carbon 456 gets my frame of the year vote. Has rewritten the rules on tough frames.
Bike of the year? The entry level Canyon AM, or Rockrider 8.1.

You should buy a job lot of 501bs and start selling them for £500. Even at that price they would be better value than the solite 150!0 -
got a few things ive really got on well with this year (well last year i suppose!), mostly little simple things, but the things that stuck out for me have been fox's new kashima coating, looks incredible and really does make a difference, troy lee ODI grips, i shall never, ever use another grip again, these are simply the best there is, period. also introduced myself to thru-axles, such a good idea, once again, i wont be buying a FS frame or fork with out one in future. stan's crest rims deserve a mention too imo, super light, mega strong for what they are and look superb in white, now onto another set for my HT. finally rockshox's latest reverb gets my product of the year, not had a single issue, which is more than can be said for most other dropper posts, superb!0

well tbh, i've mentioned it enough already, and for alot of people its far too expensive, hence why i chose more reasonable stuffs that alot of peeps can benefit from, barring the kashima coat of course, quite expensive on a set of fox forks0
