And I fully intend to wear every conceivable form of body armour for it (and possibly bubble-wrap myself too )!!!
What an amazing experience though. I've got quite a few write ups on it from MBR & MBUK over the last months and everything about it is epic. I can't wait and it's something that I think is definately on a lot of riders bucket list, well done for going for it

oooshh, bet that was a nice day0 -
I save the full power ranger kit for DH. Too much of a nuisance for XC, to be honest I very rarely wear knee pads now but mostly because I keep forgetting to take them with me though as they're normally in the bag with the DH kit. If I take them I generally wear them, why wouldn't I? As long as it's not some 60 mile day long slog with stupid amounts of climbing I don't mind them or notice them and they've proved their worth before now.0

Miss Notax, I forgot to let you try on my armour on Monday (although judging by the state of it at the end I doubt you'd have wanted to put it on!) although I have a sneaky suspicion it will be a bit too big for you, or probably a lot too big for you
I have a selection of armour and I wear different combos depending on what I am riding. I got called a power ranger at a recent DH race, I was so proud and made sure I said thank you loudly accompanied with a big beaming smile, I mean when else do grown ups get to dress as power rangers!? I also can't think of a more appropriate time to be wearing a full face helmet, long sleeve armoured top with spine protector and leg armour.....0 -
It's a bit weird that, because didn't the power rangers more or less wear skinsuits and full face helmets? So the more armour you wear the less power rangery you areUncompromising extremist0

No worries! Am quite keen to buy some but I think it's going to be a challenge finding it in the right size (ie for short people!) :oops:Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away....
