I've an enforced 11 days off work coming up over Christmas / New Year. Fingers crossed for rideable weather - no snow and no ice (please).

It would be great to get a solid block of training in. I've been unable to do the last 2 morning's group rides because of ice risk :-(

Snowing south of Norwich. Overnight frost as well, so no ride for me this weekend

16 degrees and sunny here in Majorca. Planning on 80-100 miles tomoro. Shouldn't encounter any ice

BBC reackons the weather is slowly getting warmer in the lead upto Xmas, so hopefully it will carry right through to new year, temps are suppose to be around 8-9 Degrees, but with this comes plenty of rain, I'd rather get my waterproofs wet than break my face on some ice though.

Well the long range forecast was for temperatures below average in December and above average in January & Febraruy so looks like the first bit was right. Let's hope the next 2 bits prove to be right. In which case you will probably get to use the those waterproofs regularly from April to October as punishment

Latest forecast shows some double figures again this week, at least the snow has melted after all the rain!
