Been training quite hard recently 1 group turbo sessions, 2 x lone turbo sessions and 2 x 40m road rides per week. Thought I would try racing with first scheduled on 29th Jan.

Decided to fish out an old HR monitor i had tucked away in a drawer. Ive no instructions so put it on Zone Upper and set off on a sufferfest session + extra 20 mins - 1:20 in total.

Upper zone 179-161 range selected on watch. Edit - 179-151 after checking photo I took of watch whilst training.

31 Yrs - 5'10 75kg

Sat roughly at the 179 figure with peaks at 185 and rests at 167. Intervals, climbs etc. The percentage number in the corner was 94% ish but Im not sure what this is of. I remember entering my age into a while back so it may have calculated my MHR - a quick google talks of 189 but I read here thats not accurate (220-age).

So how does this look to anyone who has any idea on HR training as I havent much clue.
