Good to see someone doing this, any thoughts? Power2Max doesn't seem to come out very well...

  • I thought it was a useful article, hopefully power meters will come down in price there are so many now
SRM, Quarq, power2max, new powertap supposed to be coming s well as polar and Garmin pedal based
    ones.

None of the new brands of power meter are cheaper than some existing power meters currently available (e.g. Powertap).

Power2Max is close to a Powertap in price, particularly if you already have one of the compatible cranks.

I was all set to sell my PT and get a Power2Max, but I'm going to see if anything comes of this, none of the other reviews seem to have found issues with the reliability on the P2M, but it's a little disconcerting that it seems to deviate so much.

If you join up to the Google Wattage list you'll find a few threads where some very knowledgeable people discuss the drift issues with the P2M.
    More problems but still living....

Are the other reviews looking for it, or know what to look for?
