    Neither do I :?

There's more to overtraining than getting colds though. What's your diet like?
    More problems but still living....

Sounds like your immune system is weakened. Time to start chuggin' Vit C supplements like there's no tomorrow and maybe take a break once a week. Although I would love to train every day I can't because I nearly always pick up some nasty bug when I start to get fit - very frustrating. I'm finding that carrying a jar of anti-bacterial handwash gel with me everywhere is really helping though! Must be all those other bacteria ridden gits that are the problem :)

What do I ride? Now that's an Enigma!
  • AS well as Vit C make sure B & zinc are up to scratch and that carbs and protein don't fall short during recovery.
  • thanks for the feed back. started multvit and echinea so hope this dos a job for me, want to make the next four weeks count with as much base work as i can.
  • +1 on the Vit C. Also, do you eat dairy much ? I haven't had a cold or flu since I stopped eating it several years ago.

    sheesh, are you floggin' summat?

Keep topped up on various pills ( I do it myself) is not only expensive but sometimes I wonder if I should really bother...it dont stop you getting from being inflicted with colds and such like but hopefully ( I say to myself) the time to get over them is much reduced.

I haven't had a cold or flu since withdrawing from society and living in seclusion.

    Have you tried Colostrum???

Also depends on your luck/immune system. I work in a school and used to get a cold about every month to 6 weeks for 4-5 years. Now I havent had a cold in about 4 years!! To me it looks like my immune system has built itself up, so it could be yours is doing the same.

I haven't had a cold for ages, and I just eat normal foods, that includes dairy, carrots and above all CHOCOLATE.

So let's get this straight... You take expensive pills that you admit don't stop illness and MAYBE they help you recover once you're already sick ? Time for plan B, dude.
  • Hi

Are you getting alot of sleep in between your sessions? Your recovery in between sessions is important. Like the others have said nutrition is important, but you will know if your over training if you are tired a lot and you haven't got the same power in between sessions. If you are over training take your volume down slightly.
