I know i said money isn't a problem, but i could not justify that sort of money, something on my bike would be lighter but it would not be attached to my bike and no longer attached to me , i have been looking a lot at crc the custom builds look pretty reasonable.work hard, play hard, fall hard

merlin as a shop i rate and use them all the time (they kinda local to me) but we did have a bad experience with a custom set of pro 2 wheels we had off them.. a shonky build. after having 3 repairs on the wheel. maily spoke replaced as they kept bending or snapping.. we were advised to have the wheel rebuilt. which we did and it been fine since,,,
the 4 pairs of wheels i had of crc over the years have been fine, stillgoing to this day 4 years later.www.bearbackbiking.com
