Ive done the "8" without the hopeline in under an hour, no chance now, I was riding 25miles a day to work and back when I managed a sub 1hr time.
1.57 is a good time especially as its wet atm.0 -
Under the hour? Fair play to you fella. I think the only way I'd get a time like that is if I obtained some of lance Armstrong's " special sweeties"When you go to the ground you are in my world. My world is the ocean. I am the shark and most people don't know how to swim0

1 were is new car park - will be next to Stephen Park
2 when is new section near car park open and were does it bring you out (walked the first bit looks grear fun) - will open when the new carpark opens so probably a couple of months. WIll bring you out at the new carpark. There's also a new section on the other side of the new carpark. It all needs to bed in properly and is still under construction. The volunteer section should also open around the same time (1km of singletrack removing the downhill fireroad on the return leg of the bottom loop).
3 is the rooty section set for repairs - Yes, the FC guys have started to put in a chicken run and then the volunteers are going to make sympathetic repairs to the rooty sections, keeping the roots.
