To be fair, those numbers are pretty blue-sky. FT is predicting a total revenue before costs of 2bn (they take into account the cost of the impact on tourism elsewhere in the country, which the LTSB figures don't seem to)
There's other benefits o'course- the infrastructure remains. Which again, is awesome for London but not so hot for the 51 million people elsewhere in the UK, who get to pay for it.Uncompromising extremist0 -
