Pete Reed Black book - where from?

HI
I've entered the Etape and a few other events next year.
Looking to increase my speed, and wondered if I'm not too late to start a structured program.
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of Pete Reed's book, as it seems out of print.
Thanks

There is a link to a PDF of it on the forums somewhere. Search will find it - sorry not got it to hand.

The Black Book is structured around a full season of racing. Not a great training plan if you're doing a few sportives.

The more people get their hands on this for free the more recommendations it seems to get - I'd be interested to know how many are actually following the program themselves.

Would the Chris Carmichael book time crunched cyclist be better?

If you are 'time crunched'! The description on the Carmichael website suggests it would be more suitable for your goals. I can't comment on the content though.

The Time Crunched Cyclist is built around programmes where you are peaking 8-12 weeks from the start. You are more than double that from your target event so I'd go for a more progressive programme.
  • Does anyone have a copy of the Black book? Can't find it anywhere!
