    I think you'll find tights have feet...leggings? Long-johns? Thermals? Anyway - that's what I wear for snowboarding, under my boarding trousers. Keep you very warm and also works like a compression suit and keeps all your muscles together - good for us lot that are pushing 40 :shock: (and those that have cleared that particular hurdle already ^^ :wink: )

    For the last few bike rides before the snow comes I'll wear them under my shorts as well. Go into any skiing shop, they'll have a huge selection of stuff

    Tights or leg warmers. You can cover up with baggies if you're not man enough.....

    Tights/Leggings, I love them when its cold out :oops: Decent socks/overshoes are important too though. I've had many showers while trying to defrost my toes.
