    I had a friend who used to listen to straight edge music, but wasn’t straight edge himself. There was one called “Positive Dental Regime” and it began with the usual punky hardcore noise and then started “BRUSH MY TEETH THREE TIMES A DAY” and you wait for a punchline or metaphor or something..but it is just a song about keeping your teeth nice and clean. I really like the idea of an alternative movement that is all about showing strength with healthy choices. It’s just...a bit boring. I try to be ‘moderate edge’ (bent edge? hmm) but like cake and the occasional Japanese beer too much.
