no the reality of the situation is he's ASKED if i'd like to go for another job and i THINK that he wants rid of me so he doesn't have to pay me redundancy. its not another job offer so if i turn down the opportunity to apply is won't affect my redundancy package.
and no, i wouldn't sue them anyway. it's such a small industry it wouldn't go down well.0 -

well, apparently i've applied for the other job! just had an email through asking me to call them for a phone interview tomorrow.
i haven't applied, i haven't contacted them at all regarding this......strange :?0 -

Hmm, it appears they are trying to make the decision for you. Personally I'd run with it whilst times are like they are, but use it as a safety net whilst you look elsewhere perhaps?0
