Minoura Turbo Trainer

Hi All,
I have just bought a second hand Minoura trainer and the minoura skewer is not present. Although the skewer currently on my bike fits and the bike feels secure enough on the trainer the nut side of the skewer is plastic.
Will this be strong enough to train with or is it likely to break under strain and send me careering down the hallway mid session?
I don't mind trying to pick up the correct skewer but would like to get started with a bit of training in the meantime, just worried I might damage my bike in the process.
Any helpful advice gratefully received.

I think you'll find the Tacx skewer will work fine with your Minoura.

Any older type skewer should work - I think the old Shimano ones. Considerably cheaper than the Tacx skewer. Obviously better to have one that's metal on both sides.More problems but still living....0
