Agreed.....most aren't students anyway....the thugs are those cnuts who also supported the gypo's at dale farm....all they want is a tussle with the police....if they actually had a fecking brain and realised that trhe tax payer has to foot the bill for all the mindless damage they might think again...but then again most are lazy fookwits who don't have jobs so don't give a shite anyway...
Give the police the powers to use batton rounds (live bullets if I had my way) and water cannons....were to soft thanks to those assholes in Brussels,0 -

Anyone noticed that none of the protests happen in the morning because the lazy feckers usually can't be bothered to get up up before midday?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Do you think Pudsey knows that there was practically no trouble at the demos? It's like he had this rant prepared for after it kicked off and was so excited about it, he had to post it anyway
It does prove the point though, peaceful protest doesn't work all that well as it doesn't get the news. A little bit of mild criminality would have got them on every front page. That's idiotic don'tchathink?Uncompromising extremist0 -

It was tongue in cheek, and what I was trying to say if you look at what happend in 2010 the hard core that caused the disruption and criminal damage were probably not students similar to the hippies at dale farm.
Plus this year with what happened last year the police had drafted in major reinforcements...I agree everyone has the right to protest but when it gets to criminal violence it's the working man that has to pay, not the feckers in Uni...0 -
Just saying how it looked, struck me as funny... "Man, this is a ****ing brilliant rant, shame to waste it really!"Uncompromising extremist0

I still think batton rounds and water cannons should be used in these situations...perhaps with smart water then we could arm our local nosey parker neigbourhood watch cronnies with UV torches and baseball bats0 -
water cannons and plastic bullets0

Yes I am aware, I would rather pay for this then pay for the millions of pounds of damage that was caused in last years protest, and like I said due to last year police drafted in hundreds of extra officers again paid for by you and I (unless your a student obviously)
Do you think the widespread riots earlier this year would have lasted as long if police used batton rounds and water cannons....I am ok with peaceful protests...but when is gets violent and causes criminal damage the thugs need persecuting.
Plus students know the cost of uni....if they are not happy then don't go....get a fecking job in the real world and there would be no need for a protest.0 -
I notice the protests took place after Bargain hunt had finished0

Righto- you do realist that the students aren't protesting for themselves, right? Current students remain on their existing fees structure, it's future students that get the shaft. They're protesting for future students to get the same treatment that they have had.
Which is terribly selfish obviously.Uncompromising extremist0 -
More people are doing less quality courses. This is pushing prices up. Unfortunately for many the uni experience is a 3 year excuse to do very little apart from get drunk while they do some crap course that has no bearing in the real world.
The whole system needs change.0 -

Think that was the Poll Tax stuff when they tried to charge students. Didn't care as wasn't going to pay it anyway.0 -

So if it doesn't directly effect them what they feck are they protesting for ??? It like me going into work saying right next week were having a protest against protential future redundancies...it's just another excuse to get away from revision and have a few beers whilst chanting utter shite...0 -
