    I ordered a size larger than usual and like the overall fit a bit looser so I can layer underneath if necessary, but find the bottom of the jacket too big and as there's no toggles the wind gets in under. That's the trouble with mail order, not being able to try sizes before you buy. But I'm not sure the medium would have been big enough

    I ordered a large, same as the softshell. I'm not sure why you'd need to size up? The cut is definitely slimmer, but it needs to be as its more of a jersey than a jacket. I love it, just wish it was as windproof as the softshell.

    A lot of people have commented on the sizing and some websites even make the effort to say its a very tight fit and advise to size up
