The bots haul in the links for the search engines - not people.

Formatting is screwed for me. I have a huge blue rectangle across the entire
forum which removes the right hand side of all the posts. This is why I'm
putting carriage returns into this post. I have tried clearing all cookies and
temp files etc to no avail. IE8.

    mate, next to the address bar there is there are three icons before the serch box;
the one on the left (closest to the address bar), clicky click and all should be well,
    if not go to
    Tools > Compatibility View
click this, it should do the same job as the icon!!

    hope that helps!
Cheers. Turning compatibility view off has sorted the problem. I had not noticed it was even enabled on my work PC as I'm a FF user at home. Cheers!
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

Hmm - I don't like the look of it at first but I didn't like the look of any other change on any other forum, then after a month or so I couldn't remember what the old versions even looked like.

Any particular reason why I can't view the new layout properly?

Half the threads aren't visable. When I open a thread, like this one, the posts are half-way over the right hand side of the screen, with only the avatars/usernames visable until I scroll across.

    Not cool...

Tried that, still fu**ed. I've been on loads of other different forums this evening and this is the only one I can't see or post easily on. Someone drop me a line when its fixed...
  • noticed you can't bypass the language filter the usual way any more either.

Not that I would ever do such a thing of course :|

Aye... 5% of identified web traffic is still using IE6 or 7, which is definately inferior. But that's a lot of people.
