If it's any consilation mines the same with the grey sides....then again I am a IT retard....0 -
You shouldn't have to do anything with a standard screen setup and the most popular browser to make it display halfway correct... I mean, we can zoom in but then you end up with gigantic early learning centre text.Uncompromising extremist0

Don't like the layout. It's the simple, cheap (free if I'm not mistaken) layout that is all over the web. Seriously, this is a step back in time imho.
I'll still come here though, mainly because I get bored very easily.
Also, Northwind I agree about the widescreen. WTF's goin on there? It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

My only gripe is the mid thread adverts and the pictures in the signatures!
Adverts are something I don't want but an ad blocker should sort that out
I do think that the old forum looked newer if that makes sense0 -

Formatting is screwed for me. I have a huge blue rectangle across the entire
forum which removes the right hand side of all the posts. This is why I'm
putting carriage returns into this post. I have tried clearing all cookies and
temp files etc to no avail. IE8.You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -

mate, next to the address bar there is there are three icons before the serch box;
the one on the left (closest to the address bar), clicky click and all should be well,
if not go to
Tools > Compatibility View
click this, it should do the same job as the icon!!
hope that helps!0 -

in the members online list it shows in grey, the name of users whos names include [bot]
who or what are they?0 -
I may be wrong, but I think they are people who have found the link through google, so not members of the forum looking at what we're saying. It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

You can do it from the main forum screen but that includes all the roadie/commuter shite!
+Potato...
I'm sure it'll just be like all other changes, give it a week and it'll all be fine... but how do we view new posts without getting all the gay lycra clad nonsense?0 -
