Could talk about the World champs which are coming up this weekend?
OK, I think I know what the response will be already...

I'll talk about the World Champs then!!!!
Pauwels for the Men's??
Vos seems pretty certain for the womens.
Big shout of encouragement to Alex Welburn (mentalalex) from this forum. He's racing in the junior race and is in good form after finishing 2nd only a few seconds down on the winner at the national championships. He also managed to get a top 30 place at a superpestige before xmas!!! Its going to be an awsome experience for him-he's traveling to Belgium with the GB squad today. I was hoping to go and watch, but I'm working this weekend0 -
Not just me who's interested then!
Agreed that it's hard to see past Vos for the women's race. And Pauwels is looking pretty strong for the men's, he looked to be playing with them at last Sunday's World Cup. The only thing that might cause him problems is if it's very wet, then I think Nys would have to be favourite.
I was looking to go and watch as well, but bought a new frame just after Christmas instead. Oops!0 -
Can't see any coverage of the CX Worlds on tv channels ? Internet only in the UK ?0
-
usually sport-livez.com has it - Or The Sporza website usually has it if its not geo restricted.0

Vos for the women, no-one's seems to be able to get close to her right now.
Pauwels for the men, although Styber has looked pretty good lately.
Good luck to all the Brits, Alex has done very well this year, hope he has a good ride. One of the lads from our club did it last year and loved it.0 -

I know it's been covered before, but really liking Stybar's pink Spesh!
And lovin' the photo as well!0 -
"Therefore, anyone who has to undergo surgery on the heart, must first be sent to a dentist.”
Eh????
I'd be happy with a Pink Cross bike too! Not really good/thin enough to pull it off though, plus I think the Dutch would nt approve...We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Yeah, I don't think I'd get as much "air" as Stybar either!

Wednesday pre-ride of course. Hopefully the riders won't have to move the barrier on race day!0 -

I'm a bit confused, is this the Worlds or the Belgian national champs I'm watching!
:shock:0 -
I think Simunek is running in 8th is the first non-Belgian. Alberts took it on from the go and rest will regret their lack of aggression.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

What was it that de Vlaeminck said about Albert at the start of the year? Maybe he should present the jersey on the podium!0
