Well my Paypal payment has gone through. No sign of the order in my account, and no emails.

Just emailed them to find out what is going on. I have zero luck buying stuff on the web lately!

9-speed X9 is really nice. Haven't tried 10-speed yet but tbh considering how good 10-speed SLX is, I'd be surprised if XT doesn't have X9 beat.

PS, I had a "day before" offer for that Rose sale, and didn't bother to look at it because I assumed it'd all be euro-wanky lycra and silly hats :roll:

The new XTR is wanktasticly good....feckin expensive but the shiffting is life a hot knife through butter...

I was a bit disappointed with the new xtr shifters - the finger trigger lever was notchy and had quite a bit of play.

Possibly, but I still think if they have a sale of 60000 items, and are taking hundreds of thousands in cash, they'd have some system to tell you the order was received at least lol.

Eventually they got back to me, and said they only had one in stock, so refunded me the other two. The wrong amount! No reply to emails, so opened a paypal dispute with them.

I have had confirmation emails telling me some of my stuff has shipped but does not mentioned XT 773 rear mech or XT shifters. Worse of all, they have shipped me frame protectors which cost me £3, charging me £5 for delivery. WTF?!

They are a poor outfit. They have disputed my claim. Basically I paid 82.11 Euros for three items, and 5.78E postage. They are refunded me less than 2/3rds of 82.11, citing 'pro rata' postage, or some other nonsense. Hopefully Paypal will sort it out.

In the end I have still paid 5.78E postage for ONE item, and been refunded less! If it was pro rata, I should be refunded even more!

Paypal generally find in favour of the buyer. Probably the safest way to buy online.
